How I handle professional and exploratory collaboration inquiries received through this website.
Lucas Salerno, Madrid, Spain, is responsible for personal information submitted through this website. For inquiries about personal data or to exercise your rights, email lucas@lucasmsalerno.com. Additional provider identification details will be published in the Legal Notice once confirmed.
The contact form asks for your name, email, inquiry topic and message. You may also provide your organization, location and approximate organization size. Formspark also processes technical request information such as an IP address, browser metadata and approximate location for security, delivery and spam prevention. Please do not submit medical records, employee personnel files, identification documents, or other sensitive or confidential information.
I use inquiry details to reply to professional messages, assess a possible opportunity, and maintain correspondence related to your request. If you ask for steps toward a potential engagement, the legal basis may be taking pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); for general professional correspondence it may be my legitimate interest in responding to messages (Art. 6(1)(f)). Submitting an inquiry does not create a contract or begin paid consulting activity. I do not add contacts to marketing lists or sell their personal data.
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. The contact form uses Formspark (Trampoline Software SRL, Belgium) to receive, store and forward submissions; I am the controller and Formspark acts as processor. Formspark stores submission content in Ireland and Germany. Some subprocessors may process data outside the EEA under applicable transfer safeguards. Formspark may keep IP, request and spam-filtering metadata under its own documented periods. Incoming domain email is forwarded through Cloudflare to my Gmail inbox; these providers may process technical and message data under their applicable services.
I aim to review and remove inquiries that are no longer needed, generally within 12 months of the last substantive exchange. Correspondence may be retained longer if a legitimate legal obligation arises. I periodically review both Formspark and the destination email inbox; technical/security copies may follow the providers’ documented retention policies.
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Write to lucas@lucasmsalerno.com. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
This site saves your language selection in your browser’s local storage only to remember your preference. It does not intentionally run advertising cookies, tracking pixels or independent analytics. It uses device/system fonts rather than requesting Google Fonts. The hosting and form services process technical data needed to deliver and secure the website. External links are subject to the respective providers’ notices.
