A third-culture perspective
Both of my parents served as diplomats, so crossing borders, learning new customs and adapting to new environments were part of growing up. Raised in Panama, I spent years living and studying in Germany, developed my career in the United States and Latin America, and now call Madrid home with my wife and our two children. This experience taught me to approach people with curiosity rather than assumptions.
How I lead
I believe that leadership is not about having every answer. It is about widening the conversation, asking better questions and creating the conditions for people to do exceptional work. Professionally, that means combining commercial discipline with empathy, thoughtful execution and accountability.
What keeps me curious
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, travel, sports and spending time with my family. I follow conversations and research on macroeconomics, emerging markets, emerging technologies, AI and automation, and the changing regulatory environment. Understanding how the world works makes me a better partner to the people and organizations I serve.
